FLOOR WORK / BARRE À TERRE

Wednesday (from 3rd September 2025) @Alkima (FLAGEY, BRU), FR/EN

FROM MODERN TO POST-MODERN DANCE TECHNIQUES

This new format offers a full work out gathering techniques from Merce Cunningham, Marta Graham and Steve Paxton.  There will be fluid and energizing sequences of movements, full attention on the transition between each effort and a deep connection with Earth and breath.

Participants will appreciate the technicalities needed for their contemporary dance classes, C.I. jams or any other practice requiring body-alignement and coordination skills.  While sustaining a demanding program I also take time to give you the keys to unlock your body. If it feels needed, mention me in private anything I should know about your bodily experience/situation that might interfere with your participation. My classes are safe spaces for the LGBTIQ+  and care for the diversity of human bodies.

LEVEL : Beginners and intermediate.

RECOMMENDED FOR : free movers looking for more clarity and contemporary dancers looking for more bodily awareness
